If you are on vacation it's very likely you will want at least one day where you do not need to cook a meal and instead go out to eat. Not only this, but trying another country's food is part of the traveling experience and can teach you a lot about the culture. After traveling back and forth from the USA to Croatia since 2010 I have been able to compile a pretty substantial list of restaurants. These recommendations are either my favorite places to eat or my Croatian family and friends top suggestions or my travel agency clients positive dining reviews over the years. Everyone's preferences are slightly different when it comes to what they like to eat but here is my ultimate restaurant guide in north coast Croatia.

Legend:
$ - reasonably priced
$$ - moderately priced
$$$ - fine dining priced

Are there any places you think I should add to this list?
I will continue to update this restaurant guide as time goes on, so please check back when you are in need of a good place to eat. For more information about Croatian cuisine READ my articles on Croatian Food, Wine & Coffee.
Many have been to the southern coastal part of the country, like Dubrovnik to take a "Game of Thrones Tour", visited the city of Split as one of their cruise itinerary ports, or stopped off at one of the islands, like Korčula, Hvar and Brač, but most have not seen the north coast regions of Croatia and we highly recommend you do.
Whether it's your first time traveling to the country or just the next time you're here wanting a more authentic, less touristy experience. Europeans have been vacationing at this hidden gem for decades but others seem to completely overlook it. Come see for yourself what makes the north coast so special.
